SAN FRANCISCO, CA. (By Sean Pate/ StubHub) - In another innovative move, rockers INXS have added an "all auction" stop on their tour in partnership with StubHub, the fans' ticket marketplace. All tickets for the band's June 14th performance at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, Calif., will be sold in an open auction format through StubHub (www.stubhub.com) with final ticket prices determined by fans. This inaugural event in the "StubHub Concert Series" will also feature former Creed frontman Scott Stapp as the opening act.

"We've always been a band that isn't afraid to be original or take risks," said Tim Farriss, INXS guitarist. "This unique show will be a very intimate experience that our fans will not want to pass up."

Fans will enjoy this opportunity to see INXS in a venue of just over 650 seats. The first of multiple auctions will commence at www.stubhub.com/inxs on Friday, May 19th, at 10 a.m. PDT with a complete sampling of tickets from the front to back of the house. All ticket auctions will begin at $1, allowing a true open market pricing dynamic to occur. New auctions with a similar assortment of tickets will commence immediately following an auction close until the day of the show. Tickets will be available in two tiers as follows:
- VIP Admission Pass with INXS "Meet and Greet" and band-signed "Switch" CD
- Admission Pass only
Tickets for auction winners will be held at the Lobero Theatre box office for pickup on the night of the show.

INXS is currently rocking the U.S. and Canada in support of their smash album "Switch," the band's first studio release since 1997. The "Switched On" tour, produced nationally by Metropolitan Talent Presents, has received critical acclaim and tremendous fan response. The tour marks the debut of new lead singer J.D. Fortune, who was cast last fall as the perfect fit for the band's new frontman on the hit CBS series "Rockstar: INXS." Over the course of their 25-year career, INXS has sold 30 million albums worldwide, earned 17 Billboard hits (7 of which were top 10), 23 UK hits, 33 Australian hits and 6 consecutive top ten UK and US albums. Scott Stapp forged his career as lead singer for the multi-platinum selling band Creed. Stapp has now embarked on a successful solo career with the release of his solo debut "The Great Divide."

"We are thrilled to partner with the legendary band INXS to launch the StubHub Concert Series," said Jeff Fluhr, founder and CEO of StubHub. "We look forward to providing all INXS fans an equal opportunity to get their seats at fair market value. It's apparent that access to the best concert tickets has become an issue for fans. This all auction format will allow every INXS fan the same chance at getting whatever seats they wish."

Shortly following its launch in 2000, StubHub created and developed charitable-driven components through its Exclusive Events and All-Inclusive Packages. StubHub's VIP ticket packages have been offered with artists including: Clay Aiken, Coldplay, Creed, Def Leppard, Dixie Chicks, Godsend, Jewel, Avril Lavigne, Madonna, John Mayer, Alanis Morissette, Jessica Simpson, Snoop Dogg, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, among others.
