LOS ANGELES (Jurassic 5 Official Website) - In celebration of their highly anticipated new album, Feedback, Interscope recording artists Jurassic 5 will launch a massive nationwide tour beginning in Seattle shortly before the album's July 25, 2006 release and concluding nearly three months later. The group will hit close to three-dozen cities. Highlights include two shows at the Filmore in San Francisco on July 22nd and 23rd, a show at Stubb's BBQ in Austin, Texas on August 1st, an August 14th stop at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., a performance at the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver on September 9th, and shows at the House of Blues in Chicago (September 1st), Las Vegas (September 13th), and in the group's hometown of Los Angeles (July 25th and 26th).

Feedback follows J5's critically acclaimed releases Power in Numbers and Quality Control. The album's first single is a soulful collaboration with the Dave Mathews Band titled, "Work It Out." The song is the natural culmination of a close relationship the two groups formed while touring together, and a fitting introduction to J5's new effort.

"It's a step up for us because we have been basically known as an underground group. We've been known as a backpacker group. This album still has elements of that because that's who we are, but at the same time we are also trying to step into another realm," said Soup, one of the group's four emcees.

DJ/Producer Nu-Mark handles the majority of the album's production, including the standout tracks "Future Sound," "Red Hot," and "Where We At," which features a vocal bit from Mos Def.

He steps aside intermittently to allow inspired contributions from, among others, super producer Scott Storch ("Brown Girl") and the mastermind behind many a Nas and Fugees hit, Salaam Remi ("Radio" and "Get It Together"). In addition, noteworthy up-and-comers Exile and Bean One both contribute powerful tracks.

Fans have everything to look forward to upon the album's summer release, as one of the best live acts in music today starts their tour bus engine with classic new material in hand. Find a complete list of tour dates and corresponding cities below:
