First Ever Complete Compilation Biography on the Life and Legacy of Rock 'n' Roll Legend, Stevie Nicks, Now Released

DALLAS, TX (www.StevieNicksBiography.com) - Through the widely anticipated, first-ever complete compilation book on rock 'n' roll legend Stevie Nicks, author Sandra Halliburton captures it all in the release of Read Between My Lines: The Musical and Life Journey of Stevie Nicks. Focusing on Nicks's influence on national and international pop culture, the book takes a detailed look at her music career spanning more than 30 years and includes her contributions to social as well as philanthropic organizations. It willgive any reader a unique behind-the-scenes look into the life of this rock 'n' roll icon and a glimpse of some of the best history in rock 'n' roll.

With the extensive amount of preparation involved in this project, Halliburton spent the past two years researching and conducting interviews with the sole purpose of capturing the journey of one of the most celebrated singer/songwriters of all time. Halliburton depicts the life cycle of Nicks during the highs and lows of her musical voyage, from the ever popular success of Fleetwood Mac, tours and awards, to Nicks's booming solo career, while also giving a balanced account of her public battle with drugs and her ability to overcome them.

The message of Read Between My Lines is for the Stevie Nicks fan, rock 'n' roll lovers, as well as the general public. Halliburton gives others the opportunity to grow and the encouragement to overcome life's difficulties through Nicks's real-life example of moving through life's profound accomplishments, as well as challenges, all while becoming a better soul through the journey.

"Stevie Nicks helped pave the way for and motivated so many female rock 'n' roll artists in today's music industry," said author Sandra Halliburton. "I wanted to give the world a book that would highlight every prominent event during the life of Nicks as well as create a tribute to her legacy."

Halliburton has maintained a lifelong passion for music. Her mother was a classical pianist and her two brothers were guitarists and songwriters. Halliburton was first drawn to the music of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, as many of us were, in the 70's and has used Stevie's music to recharge and recover from the challenges and pressures of a high-powered career ever since. Halliburton was inspired to write Read Between My Lines, not only from the impact Nicks's music has had on her own life, but from Nicks's proactive research efforts and social contributions to various charitable organizations, most notably the Arizona Heart Foundation. Both Nicks and Halliburton are survivors of fathers that succumbed to the wrath of heart disease. Halliburton, an established management consultant in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries for over 20 years, also became passionate about the cause early in her career and used her experience to further the undertakings of finding a cure for heart disease. While at Pfizer, she sponsored the Dallas Heart Ball, an independent fundraising organization and one of the largest fundraising campaigns in the United States focused on research into the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease along with participating and supporting other heart-related initiatives and events.

Halliburton has dedicated her most recent career venture to paying homage to the imprints that this music icon has left, and is continuing to leave, on society and on the history of rock 'n' roll.
