Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Wheel Of Fortune PR) - On Monday, February 12, Steve Azar will appear on America's landmark game show Wheel Of Fortune during the series' star-studded viewer favorite, "Country Music Stars Week" airing in national syndication February 12 - 16 (check local listings for time and station).

Azar will compete against fellow country stars, Trisha Yearwood and Eddie Montgomery of music duo Montgomery Gentry. Each of these celebrities will be paired with a contestant who is a country music fan. The contestants will be playing for cash and prizes while the artists' winnings will be donated to their favorite charities, with a minimum of $10,000 benefitting the charity of their choice. Azar is playing for the St. Cecilia Foundation, a nonprofit corporation that he and his wife formed to help various charitable organizations provide aid to sick, disadvantaged and abused children particularly in the Delta region as well as the Nashville area where he and his family reside.

Wheel of Fortune has ranked as the No 1 syndicated series on television for 23 years and currently, in its 24th season, attracts more than 46 million viewers a week. The series airs in 210 markets across the U.S. and is also seen in such countries as Argentina, Columbia, France, Canada, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, Spain and Vietnam. "Country Music Stars Week" was taped at the Charleston Area Convention Center, in letter-turner Vanna White's home state of South Carolina.

Azar is presently on the road with Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band and their extremely successful, Face The Promise tour. For now, fans can purchase advance copies of Azar's new CD, Indianola exclusively at the Seger concerts until it hits retail and online music stores in early spring. ExxonMobil continues to serve as sponsors for Azar's tour dates in 2007. Founders Federal Credit Union is an additional sponsor for Azar's tour dates with Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band.
