BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - Grammy-winning "Texican" sibling trio Los Lonely Boys will contribute a cover of John Lennon's Number One single "Whatever Gets You Thru The Night" to the forthcoming CD "Instant Karma: The Campaign to Save Darfur."

The track will be available for purchase on iTunes beginning April 17th, and will be included on "Instant Karma," which will be released on June 12th by Warner Bros. Records. Proceeds from the double CD - which features more than 20 iconic Lennon songs recorded by such best-selling artists as Green Day, R.E.M., U2 and Christina Aguilera - help support Amnesty International's campaign to focus attention and mobilize on the urgent catastrophe in Darfur, Sudan, and other human rights crises.

"Our hearts go out to the victims in Darfur," says Los Lonely Boys' singer-guitarist Henry Garza. "Our family has also known tragedy, and we know how sacred life can be. We care. We are proud to give support to people in need. We are grateful that Amnesty International is making this possible. We want to thank Yoko Ono for allowing us to embrace John Lennon's song. John continues to influence us today in many ways."

Supported by Yoko Ono, who has generously donated all music publishing royalties, "Instant Karma" aims to harness the power of Lennon's solo songbook to inspire a new generation of activists to stand up for human rights. Lennon's rollicking "Whatever Gets You Thru The Night" appears on the former Beatles member's 1974 album "Walls and Bridges." The original track, which features backing vocals by Elton John, was Lennon's only solo Number One single in the United States while he was alive.
