DALLAS, TX. (Top40 Charts/ Salem Communications) - 94.9 FM KLTY, Safe for the Whole Family®, and Interstate Batteries announced that Celebrate Freedom, the largest free, outdoor concert in America, will be held over a two-day period for the first time in the festival's 17-year history. The event, scheduled for June 29-30, will take place at the historic Southfork Ranch in Parker, Texas. Last year, more than 210,000 people attended this event.

This year will feature the largest musical artist lineup ever, with approximately 40 top CCM artists performing during the two day concert including such award-winning acts as Toby Mac, Casting Crowns, Aaron Shust, Skillet, and 33 Miles. Also featured will be artists such as Nichole Nordman, Avalon, Salvador, Thousand Foot Krutch, Shawn McDonald, Rebecca St. James, Natalie Grant, Superchic[k] and new urban artist Anthony Evans.

94.9 KLTY Vice President and General Manager John L. Peroyea commented, "Our 17th annual event marks a huge milestone as we now host a multi-day event! We are delighted with this expansion of Celebrate Freedom and pleased to offer many excellent family-friendly additions to the event this year, which everyone is sure to enjoy."

Celebrate Freedom is a family-friendly festival with fun for fans of all ages. Returning for the third year is Livin' It, the popular skate tour founded by actor and evangelist Stephen Baldwin. Luis Palau, renowned evangelist and founder of the worldwide Luis Palau Ministries, will speak Friday and Saturday evening. Palau has come a long way from his early days of sharing the Gospel on the streets of Buenos Aires, reaching more than a billion people around the world through radio, television, print, Internet and festivals.

Free tickets are required for admission and can be obtained online at www.klty.com, along with further information about hotel reservations and related resources. Event times are Friday, June 29, 4:00 - 11:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 30, 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
