NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Arbinet Digital Media) - Broad Street Digital Ltd., a leading license management company specializing in intellectual property rights and digital content distribution, announced today that more than 500 record labels throughout the world have signed to use its patented Rightsrouter platform for digital distribution. The list includes Music Response, CLS, Benbecula, Music Factory (Tidy), 3Beat Label Management, Dome Records and Groove Collection, among others.

The most recent of these signings is Nu Urban, one of the world's leading distributors of drum 'n' bass and underground music. Nu Urban and Z Audio Distribution and Records are a few of a number of recent niche signings for Broad Street Digital. Nu Urban selected Broad Street Digital to digitally distribute over 100 of its own record labels which include artists such as Mickey Finn (Finn People), Black Sun Empire (BSE Recordings), J Majik & Wickaman (Infrared), Rebel MC, Mampi Swift's Charge imprint and the seminal Basement Records.

The patented Rightsrouter digital content licensing management and distribution system will allow Nu Urban to catalogue, transact, distribute and manage licensing of its content directly with the world's major online and mobile retail services. By utilizing the Rightsrouter platform, Nu Urban can now manage its own digital distribution of releases, including the storage, encoding, and delivery of tracks; contract management, billing reconciliation, and settlement. This is enabling the company to expand its revenues and simplify operations.

Andrew Neill, Digital Media Manager for Nu Urban commented, "Broad Street Digital's Rightsrouter platform enables us to distribute our labels across the world to an expanding network of stores ranging from major platforms and key independents to niche specialists and dance portals, which is becoming increasingly important for the drum'n'bass community. The system allows us to immediately enter the digital world in a simple and streamlined way, increasing our digital revenue streams substantially. It also helps us to reach DJ's across the globe, who have a demand for high quality drum'n'bass music."

Scott Campbell, General Manager at Broad Street Digital notes, "We are pleased with the rapid interest and endorsement of our Rightsrouter platform by both record labels and online stores throughout the music industry. In today's maturing digital marketplace, online stores are increasingly searching for content that can be delivered immediately and in the correct format. The response to Rightsrouter has been overwhelming and we are thrilled with the success distributors are realizing as they seamlessly deliver their content to the growing number of retailers."
