Weir, a Grammy award winner in 2004, has made his mark in the industry as an engineer, mixer and producer. SCS enjoyed one of their busiest years in 2007 continuing into early 2008, working with a wide variety of music, television and movie clients such as Andreas Carlsson (songwriter/producer for artists such as Britney Spears, Celine Dion, N'Sync, Bon Jovi, etc.), Max Morgan (with producer Marc Tanner/Chime Entertainment), Chuck Negron, Howie D, Natasha Beddingfield, Danielle Brisebois, Slank, The Nelson Brothers, Josh Freese, Neil Peart, Buddy Miles, Vertical Horizon, Gene Simmons, Tim Pierce, Joe Bonamassa, and the cast of the hit musical, "Wicked."

Recently, SCS has been utilizing their ISDN capabilities to record live broadcasts such as NPR's World Cafe, (featuring Frankie Valli, Mo'Nique, American Music Club).

SCS has also completed post production services (including ADR, voice-overs, dialogue tracking, music production) for many notable television shows commercials and movies, such as: Shred (Tom Green and Dave England), Bitten (Jason Mewes), Moondance Alexander (Lori Laughlin and Kay Panabaker), U.S. Army (Gary Sinise), and L'Oreal (Heather Locklear). SCS also works regularly for NBC (Scrubs), CBS (Bold and the Beautiful, Young and the Restless), ABC (General Hospital, Donal Logue with Knights of Prosperity), and MTV (Parental Control).

One of Studio City Sound's most visible projects, the soundtrack/5.1 score mixing and ADR for the 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment feature film, "Moondance Alexander," was completed in 2007.
