New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ JMusiz Official Website) - He is a member of Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI). Formed in 1939 as a non-profit-making performing right organization, BMI was the first to offer representation to songwriters of all types of music.

JMusiz began writing songs for local artists in Richmond, Virginia, in 1991 and began to Dee-jay at parties and mix tapes in 1994.
In 1995, he partnered with a local artist producer named Lil Walter and put out a single called "She Told She Love Me" in local record shops. In 2000, he started producing music for local artists.

In 2005, he worked with First Priority Music in New York, New York, the home of Milk Dee and McLyte and Eamon and Codaray.

JMusiz composed the track "King of the Dance" on the Codaray MySpace page, and demoed the master by Herb Powers Jr. JMusiz continues to work with Codaray and Herb Powers Jr. and J. Bentley for Bentley Muzic he has started producing music for Chris Doran from the United Kingdom and for Jerome "Bigfoot" Brailey of the band "P-Funk".
