Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Johnny Jolin Official Website) - Country music veteran honors country music songwriter and friend Cal Phillips by dedicating his latest project in his memory.

Two weeks after releasing his latest single "Blue Collar Man" Johnny spoke up about his long time friend.

"Cal was such a gifted writer and co-wrote two of my popular songs 'Girl Like That' and 'Bedroom Eyes' and I wanted to dedicate this album to him. The album included a popular live version of 'Bedroom Eyes'."
The tribute was announced at a private ceremony Thursday night.

The album will be released to iTunes this week.
