Gabriel & Dresden Reunite And Announce Their First World Tour In Three Years
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ rhythmism) After a three-year hiatus, the critically acclaimed, award winning DJ / songwriting / production duo Gabriel & Dresden officially announce they're back! To celebrate the reunion Gabriel & Dresden will embark on a massive world tour through the fall months. Fans can expect sets filled with new interpretations of the classics and samplings of brand new original tracks and remixes.

On December 31, 2010, one of the most revered American dance music production teams reunited after a three year absence and reignited the magic that made them true legends in the international dance community. The fan and media response to Gabriel & Dresden's New Year's Eve show at The Hollywood Palladium was overwhelming, inspiring the duo to take things further and make it official...the boys are back and a full reunion world tour is confirmed! (Scroll down for all the dates.)

Prior to the New Years Eve 2010 show, Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden had not shared a stage together since their capacity crowd performance at the 2008 Winter Music Conference in Miami. As with many successful musical teams, time apart is essential to a healthy relationship and after working as closely as Gabriel & Dresden did for six straight years they found that it was time to explore music apart for a bit.

"We went into the New Years Eve show with open minds. We didn't have any solid plans to continue to do G&D but it felt great for both of us to be in front of such positive energy. It felt just like old times to us. We learned a lot about ourselves in the time apart which we feel has only made our connection as musicians and DJ's more solid for this go 'round." - Gabriel & Dresden

In addition to live dates across the world from late-May thru the fall, Gabriel & Dresden are returning to the studio to work on new original material. The first taste of the new Gabriel & Dresden sound is reflected in their forthcoming remix for Andain "Promises," out in June on Black Hole recordings.

ABOUT GABRIEL & DRESDEN
Originally joining forces in 2001 - Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden - ascended through the dance music ranks at an astonishing pace. Within a year of officially teaming up they completed fourteen remixes ranging from big name dance artists like Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold to crossover acts including Annie Lennox, Jewel and New Order. While remixing other artists would continue to be a big part of Gabriel & Dresden's studio work, it was their own original productions that would define them. With just one original single under their belt - 2002's "Lament"- Gabriel & Dresden's most beloved original work arrived when they teamed up with singer Jes Breiden to form the group Motorcycle and produced 2003's "As The Rush Comes." The track went on to become Billboard's year-end number one Dance Airplay track, reached number eleven in the UK Singles Chart and topped numerous other charts across the world in 2004.

With the success of their remixes and "As The Rush Comes," Gabriel & Dresden's career was now in overdrive. In addition to non-stop tour dates across the globe and a steady rise in the DJ Magazine Top 100 poll and the launch of their own Organized Nature label, their second mix CD, Bloom, was released and spawned the single "Arcadia." In 2006, Gabriel & Dresden's self-titled artist album was released featuring the singles "Tracking Treasure Down" and "Dangerous Power." This was followed by one final mix CD, 2007's Toolroom Knights, Vol. 2.

Prior to their 2008 split, Gabriel & Dresden produced 12 original tracks (including collaborations and as Motorcycle); released one artist album and three mix CDs; delivered 50 remixes; and reached No 1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Chart 18 times. They peaked at No 20 on the DJ Magazine Top 100 Poll in 2005; won the 2004 DanceStar Award for "Best Breakthrough DJ;" and received numerous awards at the IDMA's including "Best Producers;" "Best Progressive / Trance Track" for "As The Rush Comes;" "Best Remixers; Best Alternative Dance Track for "Dangerous Power" and was twice named "Best American DJs" (2007 & 2008).
