LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ LUCK Media & Marketing) A popular staple of the Las
Vegas entertainment experience, "Sandy Hackett's
Rat Pack Show" (www.sandysratpack.com) is hitting the road for a highly anticipated U.S. Theatre tour beginning this fall.
Its weeklong, eight show stop at the elegant Fred Kavli Theatre in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in Thousand Oaks, Calif. October 25-30 is especially significant for Lisa Dawn Miller, the show's producer (with Hackett) who plays Frank Sinatra's "One Love" in the critically acclaimed production.
"My husband, Sandy Hackett and I grew up in this area and I know audiences here will really enjoy the music, which includes many of the Rat Pack songs they know and love but also, amazing original songs written by my father, legendary songwriter Ron Miller ('For Once In My Life')," Miller says.
Young singing sensation Oliver Richman makes a special Los Angeles appearance in the show as "Young Frank Sinatra." Richman was recently invited by and performed with Stevie Wonder at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live and was featured on Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios "The Young Icons," a nationally syndicated television show about young people changing the world.
The show will continue to perform at its permanent home at the world famous Las Vegas Hilton while on its 2011-12 national theatre tour, which includes more than 70 tour dates (so far) throughout the rest of the season. A tour website has recently been launched with information and updates about the tour: www.sandysratpackontour.com.
Evening performances of "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show" at the Fred Kavli Theatre in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza will be at 8 p.m. each night from Tuesday, October 25 through Saturday, October 29. Sunday evening's performance (October 30) is at 7 p.m. Matinee performances are at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
