BERLIN, Germany (Trocadero Records) - Previously released in Germany through Trocadero Records, Gabriel Gordon'?s latest CD, 'Gypsy Living' is released yesterday, June 8th in the U.S. through Surprise Truck Records.

Today, June 9th, Gabriel will be opening as a solo acoustic act for George Benson in Paris at the Grand Rex and on June 16th for Van Morrison at the Olympia in Paris. With the group, Soulounge, Gabriel was opening for Benson on his tour of Germany and was invited to open solo for the jazz guitarist's concert in Paris.
Gabriel has played lead guitar with Natalie Merchant since her 1998 tour. In July he will join Merchant for a tour in support of her 'House Carpenter's Daughter' release.

"Gypsy Living" was recorded with an all star group of musician friends including: Andy Hess (Govt. Mule, Black Crowes, John Scofield), Tony Mason (Joan Osborne, Holly Palmer), Deron Johnson (Miles Davis, Seal, Alanis Morissette, Macy Gray), Adam Macdougal (Macy Gray, Carly Simon), Jay Bellerose (Solomon Burke, Joe Henry, Paula Cole) and Jason Lader (The Mars Volta, Furslide).
It was produced by Steve Refling, Jason Lader and Gabriel Gordon, mastered by Bob Stone (Zappa's chief engineer). Of the 14 songs on the CD, 'Easy With You,' 'Watch the Sky' and the title track, received European airplay.
