ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Eminem Fans Website) - Rapper Eminem's ex-wife is no longer on the lam. Police got a tip Kim Mathers was in an Ann Arbor motel, and she was taken into custody Wednesday.

Mathers had apparently recently checked herself into Weber's Inn when someone not only recognized her, but knew there was a warrant out for her arrest. When officers arrived at the hotel they went straight to her room. "Initially, I think she said her name was Julie, and our officers confronted her about that," Lt. Michael Logghe said. "That's when she said she was in fact Ms. Mathers."

At that point, Mathers had been running from authorities for over two months, since she skipped out on a court-ordered drug treatment center. Earlier in the year, she had already served some jail time for a drug possession charge after an officer found cocaine in her car during a traffic stop in St. Clair Shores last year.
Officers want to make the details of Mathers' arrest clear. "There was a lot of speculation that there were drugs in the room and things of that nature, but there was absolutely no drugs in the room or on her person and she was very cooperative," Logghe stressed.

According to the Department of Corrections, Mathers will serve at least 74 days in jail - but there could be more. Mathers was in Macomb County jail Wednesday night, where she will remain until her hearing date. At that time, a judge will decide what penalty she'll face.
