NEW ORLEANS, LS. (www.imaginationmovers.com) - The Imagination Movers have cemented their reputation as the nation's coolest rock group for kids with their funky and wild new release, "Calling All Movers."

The Movers earned raves for blending kid-friendly themes with rock and hip-hop music on their critically acclaimed 2003 CD "Good Ideas." Now, on "Calling All Movers," they follow up on the promise of their debut disc by delivering a kids pop masterpiece that recalls Barenaked Ladies, A Tribe Called Quest and the Beastie Boys while addressing subjects like cleaning up around the house, basic etiquette and saying "bye bye" to diapers.

If the commercial and critical success of "Good Ideas," is any indication, "Calling All Movers" will spark an outright kids music revolution.
"Good Ideas" won several prestigious national kids music awards and produced the national No. 1 hit kids song "I Want My Mommy," which has been at the top of the charts on XM Satellite Radio (two million subscribers) for more than four months. "Good Ideas" has been lauded by parents, educators, pediatricians and even rock stars. Kevin Griffin, lead singer of the platinum-selling band Better Than Ezra, recently declared the Movers "the future of children's music."

The Movers were founded in 2002 by a group of New Orleans dads who began writing music inspired by their own kids. Rich Collins, Scott Durbin, Dave Poche and Scott "Smitty" Smith first donned their trademark blue coveralls for live performances in early 2003 and, since that time, have been wowing crowds nationwide with their blend of choreographed hip-hop dances, live percussion jams, sweet acoustic ballads and lots of audience interaction – all designed to entertain grownups just as much as kids.
The Movers' product line also includes the "Snackin' ABCs" coloring and activity book, Movers "Gearhead" apparel and, coming soon, a Movers video DVD.

Imagination Movers music is distributed by Allegro/NewSound Kids, Big Kids Productions, BMI Wholesalers and Choices for Children. Online retailers also include Amazon.com, CDBaby.com and Atanata.com.
