New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Mercenary Publicity) LostAlone have just been added to this year's eagerly anticipated Download Festival 2012, playing alongside Metallica, Biffy Clyro and others. Hot off a headline tour of the UK, the band will smash the Redbull Bedroom Jam stage third from top at 6:50pm on Saturday June 9th 2012.

Singer Steven Battelle says: "It's such an honour to be playing a festival that has seen so many historic, landmark performances. We hope to make our own piece of LostAlone history here in 2012 "

LostAlone are also releasing a third single from their critically acclaimed album "I'm a UFO In This City" on the same weekend. "Paradox On Earth" will be available to download from iTunes from June 10th with exclusive b-sides. The video has just been added to the MTV Rocks playlist and you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/gtY9KqDRrEY

Check out reactions to the band below:
"… it can only be a matter of time before this unabashed explosion of deadly hooks, dirty riffs and lighter aloft ballads regularly sell out stadiums." 8/10 NME

"Muse seem an obvious comparison if only due to a shared love of the surprising, there's something of classic Queen in the mix but filtered in an altogether more vital and contemporary manner….one you'll want to follow this year" KKKK Kerrang!

"Breathtaking Queen style harmonies and classic metal bite." Classic Rock

"Complex, ambitious, brave, inspiring, exciting, interesting, boundary breaking…LostAlone are one of the most exciting bands the UK has to offer." Ourzone

XFM's Ian Camfield will be airing a session with the band in June.

LostAlone's previous single 'Love Will Eat You Alive' charted at No 3 in the Official Rock Chart, made inroads into mainstream playlists at daytime Radio 1 and XFM, as well as picking up genuine support from the specialist shows, with a B List at Kerrang Radio and an A List at Total Rock radio.

LostAlone are Steven Battelle (vocals/guitar), Alan Williamson (bass/vocals) and Mark Gibson (drums/vocals).
