Chicago, IL (Top40 Charts/ FiMusic) Frozen Inertia release their fourth album this week titled Thirties, a collection of thirty, thirty-three second songs. The songs span a variety of topics. The track, Daniel Bernoulli, is about the mathematician and his importance to aerodynamics. Thirty Counting to Thirty in Thirty Seconds, incorporates people, kids, robots, dogs in multiple languages and recording locations achieving the goal of the song title. The Air is Full of People, contains an excerpt from the William Powers book Hamlet's Blackberry, which comments on the hyper-connectivity of current culture. The song was recorded entirely using iPhone apps, including the synthesized vocals.
Frozen Inertia's key members are Timothy Graves & Brad Palmer, which have been recording music since 1998. Each recording project also includes many guests. Their latest album includes vocal appearances from Ashlee Hardgrave and Brian Anthony Von Rueden, members of Chicago opera/art song group, VOX 3 Collective.
