Eddie Grey To Play El Cid In Los Angeles On August 3, 2012


New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ MT Press) Eddie Grey is an ever evolving artist that continues to defy genre classification by consistently producing music that is both impressive and eclectic. Grey's vocally driven, effervescent tracks consistently manage to defy categorization in any one genre featuring a variety of elements such as pop, rock, reggae, and funk.

Comprised of frontman Eddie Grey, Patrick Coggins (drummer) and newest addition Tony White (Saxophone), the bands credits included playing alongside the Plain White T's, subbing from Alien Ant Farm's drummer and collaborating with Nicholas "RAS" Furlong. Not to mention the various prestigious Los Angeles venues Grey has played in including House of Blues, The Roxy, and The Hotel Cafe. Grey manages to fill each performance with an uplifting energy, showcasing the expressive ability to bring a song to life in a live performance that leaves the audience wanting more.

After the successful release of Eddie Grey's first studio album "The Love Thief", Grey is back in the studio working on a solo project slated for release late this fall. He is playing a handful of west coast shows, including a stint at El Cid in Los Angeles this Friday night August 3rd.. Grey guarantees an enticing performance filled with compelling lyrics and outstanding melodies, including a performance of his latest single 'Only On The Weekend" from his upcoming release. He will take the stage at El Cid at 9:30PM.
