Rustie Blue teams up with 'Whispering' Bill Anderson

NASHVILLE, TN. (www.rustieblue.com) - If an artist is going to sing a duet, why not aim for the best, that's what Rustie Blue (Center Stage Productions) has done. Her new single, "Chip Chip," was not only co-written by "Whispering" Bill Anderson (writer of current hit, "Whiskey Lullaby"), he is also her duet partner on the single. (Melba Montgomery is the other co-writer of "Chip Chip.")
"I approached Bill about recording a duet with me. He sent me "Chip Chip" and ask if I liked it and I absolutely fell in love with it! One of the best parts was that Bill said that our voices really blended well together. What a great compliment from him!," said Rustie.

Rustie feels that everyone can relate to this song since most relationships begin the same way. At first there are lots of compliments, holding the door and helping on and off with the coat. After awhile those actions don't seem to be as important, those special touches are lost.
"Chip Chip" describes what happens when those things are taken away.

For Rustie, Country music had always had a special place in her heart. She has had the opportunity to open for artists such as "Whispering" Bill Anderson, Aaron Tippin, Jeff Carson and David Lee Murphy. With the release of her single, "Chip Chip" (July 26, 2004), off of her album by the same title, Rustie continues to show the talent and musical range she possesses.
