Brasilian Artist Beatrice Mason Releases New Blues And Jazz Remix By Steve Last "Samba Minimo"
Rio De Janeiro, BRAZIL (Top40 Charts/ Beatrice Mason Official Website) Brasilian blues and jazz singer Beatrice Mason has gained a great deal of attention in her home country Brasil and now from Europe plus the United States due to her latest album Mosaico. Mason's current single, "Samba Minimo", has been recently remixed by Steve Last. Last has recently worked as a re-mixer for Christina Aguillera, Matisyahu, Linkin Park, Paloma Faith, Leona Lewis and Serj Tankian. He has also created tracks for Mario Reyes (Gypsy Kings), Emma Shaplin, Steve Stevens, Sting, Faudel, Peter Gabriel and many others.

For a second year in a row Beatrice attended the international music conference, Midem 2013 in Cannes, France, which took place just last month. This time as the head of her label , Lilly Blonde. She also performed two sold out shows in Germany in a mini tour following the meetings in Cannes.

All songs on Mosaico are sung in her native Portuguese with the exception of her previous single "Caramel" which was released in 3 different mixes and reached #41 on the SmoothJazz,com chart. You can hear Beatrice's influences and engaging lyrics in both English and Portuguese which is catching the ears of jazz and blues enthusiasts all around the planet..

Right out of the box, the album charted on stations: KQXT FM (#10), Stations steadily increasing airplay include: KGLT in Bozeman, MT, KEOL in La Grande, OR, WXOU in Rochester, MI and KXSC in San Francisco. International airplay includes Radio Litoral Brazil radio APEU Fm 105.9 Brasil, Radio Aquarius in Spain, Radio Pervii, and many others.

As a result of her success, she came to the attention of ex-Motown Producer, Michael B. Sutton via her Santa Monica.Ca. based, worldwide consultant company, The Music Umbrella. Sutton a renown writer/producer (Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson) produced the first remixes from Mosaico, the Suzanne Vega track, "Caramel". The release came out mid-October on the Lilly Blonde label and was actively promoted to Smooth Jazz Radio for an international audience.

Beatrice Mason was raised in a musical home in Rio de Janeiro and started studying music and singing in choirs at the age of 6. Her mother is a choir conductor and encouraged both Beatrice and her sister to learn musical theory and to play instruments. However, when the time came to choose a career, Beatrice decided to go to law school and practiced law for some time both in Brasil and in the United States.

Beatrice's next upcoming project has been granted a government sponsorship and will focus on the songs of South-American writers and composers; Jorge Drexler, Vitor Ramil and Kevin Johansen. The project is currently being recorded both in Brasil and in the United States .
