Beady Eye Announce New Album 'BE' On June 10, 2013
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) Today, Beady Eye announce the release of their highly-anticipated sophomore album, entitled 'BE' - out June 10th on Columbia Records.

Lead track, 'Flick of the Finger' premiered over the weekend on US radio station KCRW and got played by XFM and Zane Lowe on Radio 1 on Tuesday evening. Listen to 'Flick of the Finger' here:

One of most hotly-awaited albums of the year, 'BE' represents a true evolution in the band's sound and writing techniques. Recorded in London with cult producer Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Liam Gallagher, Andy Bell and Gem Archer experimented with Protools, cassette tapes, samplers, recorded conversation, iPhone apps and unusual instrumentation to create this ambitious and exhilarating set of tracks showcasing a stunning depth of songwriting. The record is a bold statement of intent from a band who sound as hungry as ever to achieve greatness.

''Working with Sitek just opened something up in us. He's without a doubt the best producer i've ever worked with, a real outlaw - he doesn't give a fuck, no rules. We had a new found focus when we were writing it - we really got our heads down and got our shit together - clear heads, none of that crap from the 90s. It feels like a really special record for us." said Liam.

"It's a trippy record! The strength of the tracks is so high that we got to really play around! It's rock-band instrumentation, but used in a different way. Liam's vocals are incredible, all you have to do is turn on a microphone and you're like, 'that sounds like a record!' You don't have to do anything to them." said Dave Sitek.

With festival slots at V Festival and T in the Park already confirmed and a new record which is sure to smash down people's expectations when they hear it, this summer looks set to be soundtracked by the one and only Beady Eye.
