Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Lafamos PR) International pop musician, Orisha Sound is taking the world by storm literally and figuratively. The global superstar is releasing her 15-track album, Cupid, due out June 11th. To present her album, Orisha Sound is collaborating of Jamaican reggae musician, Sizzla Kalonji on her track and music video, "Embrace It", which can be viewed on Orisha Sound's Official YouTube page.
The "Embrace It", produced by Shel-K Records and Springwata productions, fuses Orisha's pop melodies with Sizzla's dominating reggae influence. The song was composed by both Orisha Sound and Sizzla Kolonji and recorded in Kingston, Jamaica at Sizzla's studio, Judgment Yard and Tuff Gong. The music video merely touches the surface for what is to come from this international superstar and her new album. The video showcases the outgoing and rebel side of Orisha Sound, as well as views from the musically inclined Caribbean Island.
As a true musician, Orisha took up singing and playing the violin by the age of four and by age sixteen she had perfected an additional five instruments. With a great ear and wonderfully strong voice she began touring the United States and Europe as a little girl, first performing with other musical protégés and later on with well-known singers and musicians from around the globe. Since then she has appeared on stage and in studio with Stevie Wonder, Stanley Clarke, Flo Rida, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Sly & Robbie, and many others. Blending crisp beats, sultry vocal appeal and chic powerful "Euro" styling, she has positioned herself to fully grasp the ever, elusive dream of pop/crossover recognition.
