Brentwood, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Sparrow Records) - Multi-platinum San Diego rock act Switchfoot has recorded a new original song, 'This Is Home,' that will appear on the Walt Disney Records soundtrack for THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN (album in stores May 13, movie in theatres May 16) and play during the film's end credits.

'This Is Home' is also now hitting various format radio stations nationwide, and Switchfoot debuted the song in a live televised performance this week (April 23) at the GMA Dove Awards ceremony in Nashville.

'We are so honored to be a part of the Prince Caspian film with 'This Is Home,'' says Switchfoot lead singer Jon Foreman. 'The Narnia stories have a really special place in the lives of my brother Tim and me. Our dad used to read these to us at bedtime when we were boys. Our imaginations were shaped on these amazing novels.'

A video for 'This Is Home' was recently filmed in Los Angeles with director Brandon Dickerson who helmed the innovative 'Awakening' clip from Switchfoot's current acclaimed album OH! GRAVITY.

In related news, Switchfoot has also announced its concert plans for fall 2008. The group will join Third Day, Jars of Clay, and Robert Randolph & the Family Band for the Music Builds Tour that begins August 21 in Detroit. The shows will benefit Habitat for Humanity, donating $1 per ticket sold to the cause and raising additional funds through special merchandise items, ticket auctions, and event packages.
