Country Artist, Amanda Lamb Releases New Single "We Were Here"
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ LaFamos Press) Country artist, Amanda Lamb just released a new single, "We Were Here". The upbeat single marks her debut as a country artist, since making the move from the pop and AC genres early last year. "I've always been a country-girl at heart, and this is the first step to accepting who I am and wanting to share my stories," Lamb says about her new direction. "I grew up listening to country music. When I was a competitive horseback rider, my trainer would blast country as we tacked and untacked our horses. Those times are my fondest memories of that chapter of my life." "We Were Here" is now available on iTunes!

Produced by Nashville heavy-hitter Kent Wells (Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire), "We Were Here" explores the idea of taking risks, living loudly and unapologetically. At the tender age of 20, Amanda is able to give us a unique look into life from her point of view. Amanda reveals her emotional intensity in songs of yearning, heartbreak and courage. Her songwriting process includes working with accomplished collaborators, Bill Diluigi and Melissa Bollea of Rhyme Partners. Featuring a skillful collective of Music City players, Amanda's experience in Nashville is what she's been looking for all along. "I just love the vibe," she says of the famous musical community, "Nashville has such an appreciation for original music."

An Orange County native, Amanda has always sought to learn more and improve her music and sound. At a young age she took a trip to Nashville to work with vocal coach, Brett Manning (Taylor Swift, Hayley Williams), which helped her conquer her fears of performing live. She has since gone on to study with vocal coach Lis Lewis (Colbie Caillat, Rihanna) and teamed up with Cathy Lemmon of the Artist Development Network to further develop her artistry.

Amanda Lamb's talents have not gone unrecognized. In 2012, she was named Best Youth Artist at the Orange County Music Awards. Amanda is a true performer and has played a variety of stages. No matter how big or small, she is always amped to get on stage. Music isn't the only thing that drives her; she is a self-proclaimed yoga addict, an avid paddle boarder, as well as a diabetes advocate. She once opened for the Jonas Brothers at the "Rock For Diabetes" benefit concert, an event that was held at actor, Danny DeVito's house. The performance held special significance for her, as Amanda has lived with Type 1 diabetes since she was one.

The country songstress is driven and determined with an old-soul and a passionate sound to share. "Country music feels more comfortable than anything I have ever done," she says. "It feels like home." Be sure to download her new single, "We Were Here" available on iTunes. Keep up with all things Amanda Lamb by visiting her website www.AmandaLambMusic.com.
