Following the tremendous success of her first solo show, which played sold out venues across the country, stage and television star
Laura Benanti debuted a brand new piece in May, "In Constant Search of the Right Kind of Attention." Fusing theatre standards with pop music and original songs, Ms. Benanti's unique blend of humor and vocal nuance delivered an unforgettable evening. In celebration of the release of her first album, audiences will have another chance to see the performer critics call "brilliantly funny" with an "exquisite voice," and whose mother calls "very very good," in a night that she desperately hopes brings her the right kind of attention. Ms. Benanti will be performing her return engagement at 54 BELOW Sept. 19-21.
"Having
Laura Benanti record her debut album as part of our 54 BELOW CD series is exciting for us as her contribution to the New York theatre scene is undeniable," says Kenny
