Tony Award Winner Laura Benanti Album Track Listing And Cover Art Unveiled
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ CineMedia Promotions) Laura Benanti's "In Constant Search of the Right Kind of Attention: Live At 54 BELOW" will be released digitally on September 6th and on CD on September 10, 2013. The CD is now available for pre-order at https://amzn.com/B00CRU5YW0. The track listing and cover art were unveiled today by Broadway Records.

Following the tremendous success of her first solo show, which played sold out venues across the country, stage and television star Laura Benanti debuted a brand new piece in May, "In Constant Search of the Right Kind of Attention." Fusing theatre standards with pop music and original songs, Ms. Benanti's unique blend of humor and vocal nuance delivered an unforgettable evening. In celebration of the release of her first album, audiences will have another chance to see the performer critics call "brilliantly funny" with an "exquisite voice," and whose mother calls "very very good," in a night that she desperately hopes brings her the right kind of attention. Ms. Benanti will be performing her return engagement at 54 BELOW Sept. 19-21.

"Having Laura Benanti record her debut album as part of our 54 BELOW CD series is exciting for us as her contribution to the New York theatre scene is undeniable," says Kenny Howard co-founder of Broadway Records, "it also continues to further our mission to preserve amazing Broadway talent in the incredible intimate setting of 54 BELOW."

Laura Benanti's new album is produced by Aaron Ankrum and executive produced by Van Dean and Kenny Howard, of The Broadway Consortium, and Ken Mahoney. "In Constant Search of the Right Kind of Attention" is the latest in the "Live at 54 BELOW" series that started earlier this year with albums by Patti LuPone, Norbert Leo Butz, Christiane Noll and Andrea McArdle. Aaron Tveit's "The Radio In My Head" will also be released on September 10th. More albums in the series will be announced shortly.
