Rolando Sanchez: singer, songwriter, percussionist (timbales, congas, bongos, and drums), recording artist and producer was born in Masaya, Nicaragua, Central America to a musically artistic family. Rolando grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where he played with many different Latin bands as well as forming his own bands. He relocated to Honolulu Hawaii in 1984 and has made it his home ever since!
Music being his passion Rolando spent his first years in Hawaii discovering the entertainment and music scene. He was fortunate to perform with many of the top local shows in the Waikiki Beach Area.
In 1988 Rolando formed "SALSA HAWAII" the islands Premiere longest running and most popular Latin Music group. He has been a winner of multiple Hawaii Music Awards and recipient of many other Awards, Nationally and Internationally!
Rolando has performed at the Top Hotels, Nightclubs, Concerts and Events throughout the State of Hawaii for over 2 decades! He has also toured and performed in Japan, Korea, Guam, Tahiti, Canada, Nicaragua and the United States West Coast.
After releasing a number of CD's (Local, National & International) as Rolando Sanchez & Salsa Hawaii, Rolando is proud to present to you this brand new release.
