David Myles made his official US debut in
September with the release of his new album So Far, a collection of his songs over the years re-recorded and re-imagined in an acoustic stripped-down format. Now, just a couple months later, he follows his debut with the US release of his acclaimed holiday album It's Christmas. In the spirit of the holiday season,
David is offering his original song and title track "It's Christmas" as a free download exclusively on The Boot.
"'It's Christmas' for me is about the feeling of Christmas...the things that we value during the holidays - generosity, community, and family," Myles told The Boot. "It's about the entire experience of Christmas and how great it is (and I'm not talking about the shopping of course! Ha!). It's about the idea that the world would be a better place if we lived as though it were Christmas all year long. The challenge is to hang onto that spirit of kindness throughout the year."
