LOS ANGELES (Doc Hollywood Kidz/ www.hideandseekthemovie.com) - As "Hide and Seek" grabs the top spot with a weekend gross of $22 million in box office receipts, Doc Hollywood Kidz/DH1 Studios' President and CEO is excited about the soundtrack release to the film available on Doc Hollywood Records.

DHYK CEO Steven Saxton noted, "It's always a thrill to be associated with the No 1 box office film in the country. We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to release the soundtrack to 'Hide and Seek' along with Kirtland Records."

In a joint venture with Dallas-based Kirtland Records and featuring music composed by John Ottman (The Cable Guy, Gothika, the sequel to X-Men - X2, Lake Placid, The Usual Suspects - and set to complete Superman Returns), the domestic soundtrack distribution is being be handled by SONY RED.

Produced by John Rogers, a strategic partner of Doc Hollywood Kidz, distributed by Twentieth Century FOX, directed by John Polson and written by Ari Schlossberg, "Hide and Seek" topped all competition this weekend with $22 million in receipts.

The film stars Academy Award-Winner Robert De Niro and Dakota Fanning and tells the tale of a widower (Robert De Niro) who tries to piece together his life in the wake of his wife's suicide. Early on, his daughter (Dakota Fanning) finds peace and tranquility in her imaginary friend.

The All-star cast includes Robert De Niro as David Callaway; Dakota Fanning as Emily Callaway; Famke Janssen as Katherine; Elisabeth Shue as Elizabeth; Amy Irving as Alison Callaway; and Dylan Baker as Sheriff Hafferty.
