NASHVILLE, TN. (MCN Media & Marketing/ www.mcnmm.com) - Randy Harrell of Shell Point Music, Inc. will head up and oversee the day-to-day activities of Dawn Records (Chandler, AZ). He will be actively involved in all aspects of the label's operations including distribution, sales, marketing and promotion. "It is exciting to be associated with Dawn Records and its flagship release, Rhonda Towns/I WANNA BE LOVED BY YOU,' said Harrell of the new association.

Harrell formed Shell Point Music in 1997, an independent record label and publishing company. Shell Point Records released seven critically acclaimed albums including the Grammy nominated MURDER ON MUSIC ROW (by Larry Cordle & Lonesome Standard Time) and THE GRAM PARSONS NOTEBOOK. Shell Point Music Publishing won the CMA's Song of the Year (2001) for the George Strait/Alan Jackson recording of 'Murder On Music Row' and has had songs recorded by Loretta Lynn, Kenny Rogers, Trisha Yearwood, Pat Green, Pinmonkey, Rebecca Lynn Howard and more.

The label also introduced LinDee Rochelle as Fan Club President (Rhonda Towns). Rochelle, who is a professional writer and the owner of Penchant for Penning (a writing and publicity service company), will come on board to head-up The Rhonda Towns Fan Club. The Rhonda Towns Fan Club is set to launch May 1 and will feature personal updates by Rhonda as well as candid photos and innovative content. 'LinDee's natural ability as a creative freelance writer and graphic designer will enable us to generate inventive, fun and exciting information. Fans can interact at the touch of a finger!' said Rhonda Towns in the assignment. 'LinDee is also a dear friend; she is a people person, and I am confident she will ensure the fan club will be the best that it can be.'

'Rhonda is a pure talent who is coming into her own. I look forward to helping her as her music career unfolds to share my enthusiasm and faith in Rhonda with her fans,' adds LinDee. The Rhonda Towns News Beat will keep fans up to date on Rhonda's achievements, appearances and special events. 'The newsletter will entertain and educate her fans to enable them to experience the musical journey of Rhonda's Towns,' says the new Fan Club President.

Dawn Records released Towns' 'Somethin' Better' * to radio in mid-February; the single and corresponding video is receiving a welcomed embrace by radio and television across the nation.
This is the second release from Towns' album I WANNA BE LOVED BY YOU a collaborative production by Harold Shedd, Norro Wilson and Jim Cotton. The CD also contains the cut 'Slow Rain' (written by Dobie Gray whose remake of 'Drift Away' reemerged as a big hit) and an a cappella performance of 'The Lord's Prayer' (produced by Billy Williams). I WANNA BE LOVED BY YOU is scheduled to hit retail shelves on April 25, 2006. (Select-O-Hits)

In support of the single and album release, Rhonda Towns is scheduled to embark on her radio tour and Wal-mart tour in late June.
