Armada North America Recording Artist, Sharon Doorson, Releases "High On Your Love," First Single From The Album 'Killer'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Emily Tan Media) Full of swagger and with a vocal punch sure to knock newcomers off their feet, singer/songwriter Sharon Doorson descends upon America with the single, "High On Your Love," from her forthcoming studio album, Killer (Cloud 9 Dance). "High On Your Love" is a song full of attitude that's been gaining steady momentum since its release in the U.S. and Canada in early-May.

"High On Your Love" had an impressive start in the Netherlands, Doorson's home country, earning a "Top 10" position on iTunes and garnering heavy rotation at radio. The single was subsequently released in France, where it also quickly became a hit during the single's first outing, airing on France's NRJ Radio. If the early buzz from music tastemakers in North America is any indication, Sharon Doorson will soon be burning-up pop and dance charts in the U.S. and Canada. Already, "High On Your Love" is receiving spins and airing on U.S. radio stations including DMX, "The Vibe" in Las Vegas, "Energy 98.1FM" and "Too Wild" 107.2FM in Portland. More stations are coming onboard each week.

Having experienced pop success in the Netherlands as a member of the girl group, Raffish - which also included Eva Simons, known lately for her track, "This Is Love," with Will.i.am - Sharon Doorson was one of four female band members who scored a #1 hit in the Netherlands with their single, "Plaything." It's Doorson's stylish strut and air of sexy self-confidence that radiate from her when performing, and it is onstage where perhaps Doorson is most comfortable.

"High On Your Love" is the follow-up to Doorson's debut single on Cloud 9 Dance, "Fail In Love," the latter a song that hit gold in the Netherlands. Killer contains collaborations with some of the leading songwriters and producers in the industry today; Mischa Daniels ("Can't Live Without You") and Maison & Dragen ("I'm Over You") are established in the world of pop and R&B. The electronic dance music (EDM) heavyweights with whom they've worked include the artists Armin van Buuren, Tiƫsto, Paul Oakenfold, Chicane and Martin Solveig. The pop and R&B stars with whom they've worked include the artists Lil Wayne, John Legend, Flo Rida, Kelly Clarkson and Natasha Bedingfield. Additionally, the producer and composer, Kizzo, collaborated with Doorson on the album. Kizzo is most recently known for having scored his first U.S. airplay hit with "Can't Stop Me," a track written and produced with Afrojack that entered the Billboard Dance Chart at "#5." Killer is released June 7th in the Netherlands; a North American release date for Killer will be announced soon.

Said Doorson, "You can define my style as a mixture of pop and dance. I try to write beautiful songs with strong vocals and lyrics. I'll also write my own songs together with well-known composers as well as lesser-known composers and songwriters. The important thing is the emotion behind the song."
