About White House Band
Brooklyn-based, White House Band is a loud, captivating, and energetic one-man band combining Rap, Hard Rock and Blues in its recordings. Since the formation in February 2010, the band has performed at the Time Out NY Make Music festival, headlined The DIY Bushwick Music Festival, participated in The YUME Fest, CMJ 2010, SXSW 2011. Among its music influences, the band lists Black Sabbath, Miles Davis, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Buddy Rich, Metallica, and Guitar players like Eric Johnson, Marty Friedman, Jimmy Page and of course Hendrix. The band released the debut EP "The Method" on July 15th 2010 and has been touring locally in support of the EP. "The Stimulus Package EP" was released on February 14th, 2011.
