Los Angeles, LA (Top40 Charts/ Rocket Science) - Former *Nsync star and 'Dancing With The Stars' contestant Joey Fatone will release the first single from his forthcoming solo album 'Radio' to digital music retailers May 18. A second single will follow in early July, with a full album slated for later in the year on his own label imprint, PHAT-SKILLZ Music. The song debut will coincide with Fatone's return to 'Dancing With The Stars' on Tuesday night, May 18, and will herald a huge summer for the singer.
Of the new tracks, Fatone says 'I have been recording with friends over the last few years and really enjoying it. We found and wrote some songs that are fun, harmless, and hopefully make people smile and feel good.'
In addition to the launch of his solo recording career, Fatone will return to the bright lights of the stage as 'Franz Liebkind' in a new production of Mel Brooks' Tony Award winning musical The Producers. He will also begin production on two feature films this summer. The first, Inkubus, is a horror film in which Joey co-stars with Robert Englund, the original Freddy Kruger in the Nightmare On Elm Street movies.
