Mandisa has received a Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album GRAMMY nomination for her Sparrow Records debut, TRUE BEAUTY.
Following her No 1 Billboard Hot Single Sales smash 'Only the World,' Mandisa's TRUE BEAUTY debuted at No 1 on the Top Christian Albums chart in August.
The singer appeared on The Today Show and Live! With Regis & Kelly while media reviews raved 'Mandisa establishes herself among true winners' (EBONY Magazine) and 'TRUE BEAUTY is the feel-good album of the year' (Living Light News).

Complementing the ongoing acclaim and chart success of TRUE BEAUTY, Mandisa has just released a holiday EP entitled CHRISTMAS JOY featuring original single 'Christmas Makes Me Cry,' new takes on 'O Holy Night' and 'Joy to the World,' and a cover of Stevie Wonder's 'What Christmas Means to Me.' She is also part of two major holiday concert events: Christmas on Main Street with fellow American Idol alumnus George Huff and the Christmas Believe Tour with Natalie Grant.
On Christmas Eve, she'll sing live at the Crystal Cathedral in a performance to be televised worldwide.
The New Year kicks off with Mandisa resuming promotion of TRUE BEAUTY on the Winter Jam 08 Tour with MercyMe ('I Can Only Imagine') and several other favorite Christian music acts beginning January 9.
