LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Luck Media & Marketing) - 'Future Calling,' the title of the debut single by Naples, Florida based alt pop rock powerhouse Phoenix Block, continues to prove joyfully prophetic.

The band (www.phoenixblock.com) blew Austin, Texas away March 20 with their performances of this song and 'Chemtrails'-the title track from their recently released first album-at the South By Southwest (SXSW) Music Stimulus Event.

President Obama wasn't on hand-it wasn't that kind of stimulus-but hundreds of music industry movers, shakers and tastemakers got to see PB energize the crowd at The Parish, which is located in the midst of Austin's hip and very happening 6th Street. The event included five hours of an open bar and free food.

Videos of their performances are now available online at https://www.phoenixblock.com/sxsw.

Phoenix Block is currently receiving Alternative Radio Specialty Show airplay and are getting Mediabase spins across the U.S. on stations like KNRK (Portland, Oregon), KTCL (Denver), WEND (Charlotte) and KUPD (Phoenix).

The band will be shooting a live concert video at their upcoming show Wednesday, April 15 at Sway Lounge, which is located at 2059 Tamiami Trl E, Naples, Florida. The show begins at 8:30 p.m.

Driven by a passionate energy and modern electronica experimentalism, Phoenix Block creates an undeniable emotional power that is touching fans throughout in Florida and beyond. Their rise began with the collaboration of lead vocalist Andrew Jaffe and guitarist/keyboardist Steve Schoeffler, lifelong friends who grew up in South Jersey. Sicilian born Bassist Tony Catania achieved success as a writer and producer for Scatman John and later worked with artists like Lenny Kravitz and Lionel Richie.

The band's developing vibe quickly solidified when the three met drummer Darrell Nutt in a local club in Fort Myers, Florida. Nutt's credits include AC/DC and Steely Dan.

Chemtrails was produced and mixed by Catania, recorded at Orange Glow Studios in South Florida mastered by George Marino of Sterling Sound, NYC (Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder).
