New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Following the success of their recently released debut album We Are A Curse, Brooklyn's The
Dream Eaters are showing no signs of slowing down. With a string of dates booked for the summer and two Northside Festival showcases scheduled for this weekend (one of which is an official showcase), summer 2017 is looking pretty darn good for the dream-pop duo.
Today we are thrilled to share with you a simple, yet beautiful live video of the band performing their song "Neanderthals" which we are featuring on our BTCM blog for your viewing pleasure. The video, which was shot at the Behind The Curtains Media studio, was filmed and edited by Dave Bunting of King
Killer Studios and captures singer
Elizabeth Labaron and Jake Zavracky taking a stripped down approach to the song and looping their voices live to create their signature wall of lush harmonies. The video provides viewers with a look into the groups 'real-time' looping process, which they execute with effortless precision. It is an impressive display of musicianship and Bunting's cinematography and tasteful editing skills help to perfectly convey the nuances of the performance.
