New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Island Def Jam) - According to APWFestival.com Jay-Z has been tapped to replace the Beastie Boys at All Points West Festival Friday, July 31st.
Shawn Carter will act as the headliner filling in for the Beastie Boys after the group canceled their opening-night performance. As previously reported Adam Yauch of The Beatie Boys has a cancerous tumor in his left gland and the group has postponed their album and tour.

Jay-Z joins Tool (Saturday) and Coldplay (Sunday) as headliners of the three-day, multi-stage music and arts festival.
ALL POINTS WEST will also feature performances from Q-tip, The Pharcyde, the Knux, Organized Konfusion, the Cool Kids and more than 65 artists appearing throughout the 80-acre historic location that has panoramic views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Manhattan skyline in New York.
