New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Olivia Chaney, whose new album, Shelter, is out now on Nonesuch Records, has announced a three-week tour of the United States and Canada, starting in Decatur, Georgia, on July 24. The tour includes headline shows in Washington, DC, Cambridge, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Burlington, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Portland, and San Francisco, as well as sets as special guest of Patty Griffin on Long Island and Bruce Hornsby in Washington State. Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale on the album's release day, this Friday, June 15. See below for details; for all of the latest, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.

Chaney celebrated the release of Shelter with a concert at (Le) Poisson Rouge in New York City on Sunday. She will do so in her hometown of London at Hoxton Hall on June 19.

Shelter was produced by Thomas Bartlett and features eight original songs, like "Roman Holiday" and "IOU," which are available to download with pre-orders now, along with Chaney's interpretations of Purcell's "O Solitude" and Frank Harford and Tex Ritter's "Long Time Gone," first recorded by the Everly Brothers. It is available to pre-order at iTunes and in the Nonesuch Store, where vinyl and CD pre-orders include a limited-edition autographed print.
