The Los Angeles Recording School Named In Billboard's Top Music Business School Of 2019
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Los Angeles Recording School) The Los Angeles Recording School (LARS), a division of The Los Angeles Film School was featured in Billboard Magazine's March 2019 list of Top Music Business Schools across the U.S. This is the third year in a row that Billboard recognized the school for its distinguished degree programs in Music and Audio Production. It's listed amongst 20 other competitive colleges and universities including a number of schools here in Southern California.

"I feel the success of the school can only be measured by the success of its alumni," said Joe Byron, alumni relations director. "Their creative contributions to the entertainment industry and to our school open up opportunities for growth as we move forward into the next decade," added Byron.

Three distinguished LARS alumni have joined the growing list of industry professionals who've worked on award-winning productions and record albums.

Andrés Borda (2011) won his fourth Latin GRAMMY® in 2018 for his work on Carlos Vives's self-titled album, Vives.

Other alumni credits include work on RIAA multi-platinum albums with top musical artists such as: Beyoncé, Cardi B, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, CeeLo Green, LMFAO, Lady Gaga and Jay-Z, to name a few.
