James Newton Howard (born June 9, 1951 in Los Angeles, California, United States) is an American film score composer. Throughout his prolific career, James Newton Howard has scored films of all scales and genres, earning multiple award nominations for his work. Howard began studying music as a small child and went on to attend the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California and then majored in piano performance at the University of Southern California.

Jennifer Lawrence was born (15 August 1990) in Louisville, Kentucky. She has 2 older brothers, Ben and Blaine, sister-in-law Meredith, and her parents are Gary and Karen Lawrence. Jennifer, known to her friends and family as "Jen", was discovered in New York City at the age of 14. Before Jennifer became an actor, she was involved in cheerleading, field hockey, softball, and modeling, none of which she held a passion for.
