Biography
Wesley Oliveira da Silva (Fortaleza, Ceará, September 6, 1988), also known as Wesley Safadão, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, producer, and businessman. The artist is the most popular of the genre Forró in all social networks. He began singing at the age of fifteen, beginning his professional career to join the family band which soon after released its first album. At sixteen he became lead singer. He has released eight albums and two DVDs, the last three CDs and the two DVDs released by Brazilian label Som Livre. He is constantly invited to partner with artists from different musical genres, breaking several barriers in music. Today he is recognized as a major reference in Forró, being cited as an influence of several singers and has great prestige with critics of the genre. He has appeared several times on television programs such as Domingão do Faustão, Encontro Com Fátima, Altas Horas, Caldeirão do Huck, Esquenta, Profissão Repórter, TV Xuxa, VÃdeo Show and Mais Você.
