Biography
Matt Sassari (born March 8, 1992 in Marseille, real name Matthieu Piacentile) is a French techno DJ and music producer.
Matt Sassarie was born in Marseille in 1992, where he also grew up. At the age of 14 he wanted to be a professional soccer player. While training at the Football Academy, he attended his first club and was immediately fascinated by electronic music. He started producing himself and learned to program on an Ableton Live. He sent his music to labels such as Potobolo Records and Deepperfect. His first songs charted on Beatport. In 2016 he released the successful Fired Up EP on Carl Cox's Intec Digital. This led to a remix of Green Velvet 's La La Land. As a result, he worked with Adam Beyer, Dubfire and Patrik Berg, among others.
Among others he has performed at Wonderland Festival in Thailand, We Are Techno in Uruguay, Terraza in Greece and Awakenings Festival in the Netherlands. In 2019 he became resident DJ at Tanzhaus West in Frankfurt. In Germany, his song Give It to Me reached number 30 in the single charts. The song is an official adaptation of Timbaland 's song of the same name, which he recorded with Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado.
