Biography
Francisca Valenzuela (born 1987) is a Chilean singer-songwriter who was born and raised in San Francisco, California and moved to Chile at the age of twelve. Her songs gather elements from everything from jazz to rock and pop to classical music. The lyrics of her songs - some in Spanish and others in English - can be light and humorous or reveal inner strength and maturity. Valenzuela's first single "Peces," written when she was thirteen years old, was released to radios in Chile in 2006 and enjoyed substantial success there. Her debut album, Muérdete la lengua, was released in Chile in 2007.
