Chris Martin admits attack

NEW YORK (Coldplay Fans Website) - Chris Martin of Coldplay has admitted that he lied about an alleged attack on a paparazzi photographer in London earlier this year. Martin was accused of attacking Alessandro Copetti, a photographer in April. Copetti claimed that he was kicked by Martin after he took a pictur eof Martin's wife Gwyneth Paltrow outside a London restaurant.

The singer first claimed that the man simply tripped and fell while chasing him and his then-pregnant wife, Gwyneth Paltrow.
Martin now admits that he did in fact get physical with the photographer, and has apologized to investigators.

Police have given the singer a warning, but are not expected to lay any charges. "At least he's accepted responsibility. The police said he apologised to them and was very helpful. But he has never apologised to me," Copetti said. "He seems to think it is okay to be violent to photographers because he is a celebrity."
