New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ OCD Records) You might be forgiven for thinking insignificant Others (small 'i', big 'O') are new kids on the block, but dig a little deeper and you'll find a wealth of musical talent and experience. The insignificant Others sound is rather special too blending slick electronic pop with catchy hooks and melodies, and body-rocking beats.

Based in London, insignificant Others are Nick McCall (synths, machines and guitars) and Dave Robinson (synths and machines.) Each bring their own individual flair and song writing abilities to the equation. Nick has the guitar skills and an unhealthy obsession with vintage Roland synthesisers; Dave has the ears and DJ know-how to bring it all together and make it happen in the studio.

The origins of the band began when Nick and Dave first met 15 years ago. They started working together in 2002 as a DJ/production outfit and quickly developed a unique electronic style. With singles like 'It's Me', 'Use My X', 'Collagen', 'Me and Silver T' and the 'Milk' EP, and some killer remixes, they earned substantial praise from the dance music press and support from Pete Tong, Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada and more. Groove Armada even invited them to play at the Lovebox festival in 2005, while the insignificant Others also brought their DJ skills to major clubs like Turnmills, The End, the Ministry of Sound and Sankeys, as well as European tour dates for MTV and Motorola.

With influences as diverse as Prince, Bjork, Ultravox, Neneh Cherry, Jill Scott and Nine Inch Nails, the insignificant Others sound is born from a collective love of different music to which they bring their own twist and originality.
