SonReal Nominated For 5 Much Music Video Awards; Currently On US Tour With Grieves

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Cornerstone Agency) SonReal, Canada's newest up and coming rapper, has just been nominated for five Much Music Video Awards. The emerging artist is only second to Drake and Hedley in the most MMVA nominations, both with six to SonReal's five nods. SonReal was also recently up for a 2014 Juno Award for "Rap Record of the Year" against Drake. Rob Markman of MTV recently said, "Drake isn't Canada's only hip-hop hitmaker, not by a long shot. SonReal may not get all the mainstream props in the States, but the Vancouver-based rap product is a pretty big deal up north."

SonReal was nominated for his "Everywhere We Go" video, which has garnered over 1 million views on YouTube. Mass Appeal says, "The creativity of the video is matched by SonReal's lyricism - so pay attention!" Check out the video here:
