Award-Winning Brazilian Artist Fabiana Passoni Releases First Brazilian Jazz Original "Let Your Love Rise"
LOS ANGELES, CA (Top40 Charts/ Wilbur Music) Internationally renowned Brazilian star Fabiana Passoni newest EP Let Your Love Rise showcases her first Brazilian jazz original in English and remakes of two (2) Billboard Hot 100 1960s/70s hits. Fabiana continues to mature as a singer/songwriter riding the momentum that began with her recognition as Best Brazilian Female Singer Living in the U.S. by the 2012 Brazilian International Press Awards, cast member of the hit musical Loving the Silent Tears, and special sold-out performances to hometown crowds in Poços de Caldas, Brazil last year.

Fabiana listens to her fans, peers, critics and her heart resulting in what some are calling 'a new genre of Brazilian music.' Building on the success of her 2013 Dim The Lights EP heard on jazz and adult contemporary radio stations in the U.S. and across the globe, what followed was an amazing synergy of musical minds creating the EP's original title track Let Your Love Rise. With uplifting lyrics and Fabiana's deep, lush delivery the track provides a final punch of energy as the band cuts loose on an extended jam of pure, unadulterated Brazilian Jazz.

The EP also features a bossa nova version of the 60′s smash hit I Feel Good (James Brown). The acoustic arrangement is supported by undertones of Fender Rhodes, cello, and an impressive range of percussion. An added bonus to the EP is Fabiana's modern interpretation of the 70′s hit Jazzman (Carole King) featuring a musical duet of her rich voice and the soprano sax of Scott Mayo.

Traditionally a Latin Jazz artist, Fabiana Passoni's distinct passionate voice and pulse of Brazilian rhythms transcend genres again with the EP Let Your Love Rise. Her shows are a celebration of Brazilian and American cultures with a relentless zeal for what is good in life. Local performances in the Northern and Southern California areas are on the agenda this summer/fall and will be announced soon.
Fabiana is also hard at work on a full CD of original Brazilian jazz music expected by the end of 2014. Find out more information about Fabiana and her music at www.fabianapassoni.com.
