Chicks Rock across the nation - 15 States, 19 Cities, 42 Bands, 1 Weekend

LOS ANGELES (www.chicksontheroad.com) - For one weekend only, over 42 musical acts will perform in 19 cities over the course of three days, Oct.21-23, 2004. This "Chicks on the Road" Tour, sponsored by Chicks Rockfest (CRF), solidifies CRF as one of the major national supporters for females in rock music.

This national event consists of seven regional tours that will each hit three cities; each tour will have a minimum of six regional acts, two acts from each of the three cities in the tour. This allows each city to have a local crowd to support the artists. Some of the cities include Chicago, New York, Baltimore, and Los Angeles.

"I want the Chicks Rockfest to receive more support nationally, and support local music not only in Cincinnati, but all over the country. The support of local music is very important to me, and my main objective for having this festival". Chicks Rockfest, in addition to Chicks on the Road, is the brainchild of Jenny Schmidt. Schmidt is also currently accepting submissions for Chicks Rock Fest 2005 until January 1, 2004. Sponsorship and interview opportunities are available as well for both events.
