LONDON, UK () - Leading UK rapper/singer Ms. Dynamite has been arrested for an alleged assault that took place at a Chinese eestaurant (London).
The incident, which allegedly took place last month, occurred in central London in the Soho district press reports.
"The woman says Miss McLean Daley shouted at her then attacked her. It appears there was a heated discussion in the restaurant entrance.
It is not clear what caused the argument, but the woman claims she was slapped. She made a complaint. Miss McLean Daley volunteered to come forward and was arrested," said an announcement by the Scotland Yard (UK Police).

The rapper Ms Dynamite (real name Niomi McLean-Daley), will reappear in court sometime in November. Ms. Dynamite's debut album A Little Deeper faltered sales-wise due to her inability to promote it during her pregnancy, but the rapper managed to get a number of accolades. She won the Mercury Music Prize in 2002, two Brit Awards and three MOBOs (Music of Black Origin), among other honors.
