De La Tierra End Their First Tour With Excellent Concert Reviews
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ ER:M+M) "If there was any doubt in anybody's mind about the sound of De La Tierra performing live, those doubts disappeared" (1) after their first round of concerts. "They exceeded all expectations" (2), with "a very dignified show" (3), a "powerful show that has audiences longing for what is to come" (4), and we also "realized what unstoppable force each member of the group brings with him."(5) These are just a few of the comments by the press after witnessing this Latin heavy metal band's live performance during their first South American tour. They held 4 concerts (Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Paraguay) as Metallica's opening band, and later put on several shows by themselves in Chile, Argentina and Brazil.

"One of the year's most powerful shows, featuring riffs that are consistent with metal tradition worldwide." (Rock & Click Futuro 88.9 / Chile)

"..in addition to the purity of their studio sound, De la Tierra's live performance proves why they are an unquestionable authority on the metal rock scene." (Telam News Agency / Argentina)

"De La Tierra disregards rain and hail and delivers a powerful performance... A project like De la Tierra's makes everyone's' jaws drop." (Club NME / Brazil)

"The essence of metal is in the hands of these four rock veterans who are called upon to perform." (Rolling Stone / Argentina)

"De La Tierra won the heavy's heart with a heated concert in the middle of fall and with a group that can deliver much more than a performance at Teatro Vorterix."- (Your Name in my Throat / Argentina)

"Exceeding the expectations they generated since they announced forming the band and the release of their first record, De La Tierra held their first show in Argentina." (La Guarida del Rock / Argentina)

Their first concert in Mexico at the Vive Latino Festival, where over 12,000 people gathered to see them and they "put on a mega slam" (6), also triggered a wave of comments that confirm that "De La Tierra is a hit, and they hit hard." (7)

In Lima, Peru, where De La Tierra held one of their most memorable concerts as part of their tour with Metallica, with over 60,000 people facing the stage, ready to hear the group, the country's press complimented their performance: "... people were arriving at the Estadio Nacional and you could already see a huge banner with the name of the band [De La Tierra] at the back of the stage," states El Comercio, Peru's main newspaper, in its concert review. "They were the opening act, but behaved as much more than that."

Any and all doubts one may have when thinking of a new group will disappear regardless of the country or place where this group, consisting of four musicians with renowned careers, will perform. They have passed all tests, especially considering that the group's members come from different and sometimes opposite genres. Being fully aware that audiences have only recently become familiarized with the name De La Tierra and their first album released in January of this year under the same name, the group reflected an amazing synchronicity among its four renowned and veteran musicians (Sr. Flavio, Andreas Kisser, Alex González and Andrés Giménez), and if there is anything everybody agrees on is that it seemed that the group had been playing together for a long time.

"What Latin American musicians that come from pop, thrash, groove, funk and rock combine their ideas to create a project that differs from their careers?, De La Tierra is a clear example of this combination, a band made up of musicians of renowned careers that feature very unique songwriting abilities. They are talented and backed up by a production that only a few groups have, people who want to have a good time, and, first and foremost, of making music that will position them in a different context with their followers." (WYWH Argentina)

De La Tierra will soon announce their U.S. tour and are confirming their participation at the legendary Rock al Parque Festival in Colombia, a stage that has seen great rock and roll names from around the world.
