Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Orsus Management) Claire Wright, an eighteen-year-old up-and-coming singer/songwriter from
Orange County, California, recently announced the release of her new song: Young Lover. The original track, written by Wright and produced by Colby Wedgeworth, was released on iTunes earlier today and is available here.
Wright's music infuses folk, pop and coastal California influences inspired by some of her favorite artists, Lana Del Rey, Jack Johnson, Ellie Goulding, Cisco Adler and Shwayze.
The release of Young Lover was announced on the heels of Wright's first feature music video Foggy Eyes. Foggy Eyes is one of Wright's original tracks off her debut EP, Icon of Freedom.
"Music is my passion.
Almost all of my songs are about love, heartbreak or bursting free as a unique individual," she laughs. "It's okay to be vulnerable," she added, while sharing that in order to write a song she must feel real emotion.
Wright personifies her California coastal image as a brand ambassador for O'Neill clothing and Rope the Moon jewelry. Her future plans, in addition to attending Vanguard University of Southern California this fall, include writing music, recording some of the dozens of songs she has already written into her first full-length album, and performing live. Passionate about anything she pursues and a natural in the spotlight, Wright has held titles as
Junior Miss California International and Miss California High School. Wright was recently featured on Good Day Sacramento. For more information, bookings, to view a clip or listen to Wright's music, visit www.clairewrightmusic.com.
